He wants to retire a live ex-leader, not go out in a Nuclear Apocalypse he caused to occur.Arthur Shostakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08830805657188172303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7411958894593823280.post-24651797705599049382022-04-05T00:57:33.391+03:002022-04-05T00:57:33.391+03:00Well done! If Biden decided to intervene with force or if NATO made that decision, what would the American Congress do? Do you think that Ocasio-Cortez and her group would go along? What about the conservatives? They have been strangely divided on Ukraine, seemingly afraid to cross Trump's bizarre pro-Putin doctrine that affected his entire 4 year policy toward all things Russian. I ask this honestly- do you think that the Congress would back Biden on using direct military force in Ukraine, because that is the only way that the U.S. could mount a sustained projection of force in the region. I am far from sure.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7411958894593823280.post-48689821709098161842022-04-04T23:39:38.158+03:002022-04-04T23:39:38.158+03:00So you think “more” is the US should engage Russia...So you think “more” is the US should engage Russia as if Ukraine were a member of NATO? I’m not sure NATO has any any value if the alliance decides to treat nonmembers as members when it feels like a good idea (nor that the population of any NATO member has the political will to so engage).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7411958894593823280.post-2468796514653915062022-04-04T23:39:03.718+03:002022-04-04T23:39:03.718+03:00well, to start with, Europe depends on Russia for ...well, to start with, Europe depends on Russia for energy.
